Several years ago, the University of York launched a prestigious three-day conference for private and public health care officials. The event – the first of its kind in the UK – focused on helping senior health executives improve quality and productivity by making better use of management data and research evidence. With packages of up to £2,500, this was a large and costly event with a high profile roster of speakers.
I worked with the university to ensure its promotional materials were professional and sophisticated. This included designing a call for nominations, e-mail marketing campaigns, brochures, physical mailouts, and a web site.
